Systems-adminsitrator

We are looking for someone meeting the following requirements

Place of deployment: Vienna, Start of work: Immediately

Responsibilities:

Planning, building and administrating the infrastructure of an online-platform
Support of administration and office software.

Required skills and knowledge:

Very good knowledge of Linux systems (Debian GNU Linux)
Basic knowledge of net works and net working (TCP/IP esp. HTTP/HTTPS/SMTP, UDP)
Experience with various database systems but at least MySQL/PostgreSQL.
Basic knowledge of various security technologies (VPN, Firewalls, SSL)
Extended knowledge of server hardware.
You also need analytical thinking, reliability, strong communication skills, the ability to work within a team as well as being able to work on your own initiative

A plus:

Practical experience with virtualisation solutions (XEN, VMWare, etc.)
Practical experience with the monitoring solutions Nagios or Munin
Putting into practice of data retention concepts using linux.
Practical experience in building distributed, high availability systems
