+ 13.08.2008 - 23:00 + New version - 0.6.0 - FR1

After a long internal testing periode a new version (0.6.0-FR1) of the game is available in the beta room. The most important change is the behavior of the goalkeeper, which was completely revised (the scoring chances are much more realistic compared to the last release).

The following chnages have been made at the goalkeeper:

• The positioning of the goalkeeper is not that perfect during a player is moving vertical in front of the goal.
• The new goalkeeper is not leaving the goal during a free kick (he keeps his position even if he could catch the ball earlier).
• He shows a better reaction when he is directly shot by the ball.
• The goalkeeper no longer jumps with the ball in his hands into the goal.
• The most important change: the goal success probability is calculated on power and direction of the shot and the position of the goalkeeper.
• If you tackle the goalkeeper you will receive a foul and red card.

New changes in gameplay:

• Much more realistic "fail shots" (more shots miss the goal instead of bouncing from the bar).
• The man-marking is active during goal kick.
• The high pass was deferred to its old speed (faster -> extremely high wide passes do not longer happen).
• The speed and distance of the passes of the computer opponent and the behavior of the AI man-marking varies depending on the difficulty settings of the computer opponent AI.
• The computer opponent doesn't miscalculate during a header.

The following general problems where also fixed:

• The ball doesn't stick in the goal afer a goal in multiplayer mode.
• The fatal error in single player mode was fixed, which terminated the game immediatley.
