Tournament help

Currently there are three different tournament modes, this page describes every one of them:

Tournament type: Official Tournament

A "quick" tournament for all our registerd members. All users, registerd for a tournament, have to be online (multiplayer tournament lobby) at tournament start. Its best to join ten minutes before the game starts, because there can always be a potential delay due a new game update.
Users registerd for a tournament, but not online at tournament start, will be disqualified!
The tournament goes on until the finals are played. Every round takes approximatly 15 minutes, so a full tournament will take one to two hours (depending on how much players registered).

Tournament type: Longterm Tournament

A "slow" tournament for all our members, at tournament start not all of the players must be online, but every player has to play with his opponent until a fixed (see tournament details) deadline. If the players dont succed in taking out the game (use private messaging to contact your opponent), both players will be disqualified! If your opponent does not react to private messages or you cant reach him by any other way, please contact the tournament moderator! Only the tournament admin can choose to let one of the players win (if it is clear that your opponent was inactive and you proved your willingness to play the match).
Each tournament round takes at least two or three days, a full tournament can take one to three weeks to make a winner (but you are much more flexible in timing your match!).

Tournament type: Partner-tournament

These are (bigger) tournaments, arranged by one of our partners. For most of the partner tournaments sponsored prices for the winners are available. Tournament registration, finding your opponent and entering results will be done on our partner-website (the tournament pages are linked directly from the tournament-archive).

Tournament highscore

For all multiplayer tournaments every player gets a fixed amount of points for winning, second and (if players agreed on playing a "small final") third and fourth place. The points can be different from tournament to tournament (see tournament details for more infos) - bigger tournaments earn you more points, smaller tournaments less.
